Zara is a healthcare executive, former scientist, and international speaker with 16+ years of experience commercializing breakthrough innovations across life sciences, healthtech, and consumer health. She has led global launches and brand strategy for pharmaceutical leaders, including Pfizer, Amgen, Merck, AstraZeneca, and Takeda, and advised and helped scale 10+ healthcare startups, from early-stage ventures to companies valued at $500M+.
As Chief Digital Innovation Officer at VUE Health, Zara drove AI transformation across the agency’s healthcare portfolio and built VUEVO, a generative AI platform that accelerated launches. Previously, as Head of Digital at Ionis Pharmaceuticals, she built the biotech’s first enterprise digital capabilities to support its transition from a research-focused organization to a commercial biotech ready to launch its own products. She held senior leadership positions at Omnicom agencies, USA Clinics Group, and Patients Like Me.
Today, Zara advises healthcare leaders on leveraging AI to accelerate commercialization and speaks to international audiences on topics including AI-native commercialization, the future of healthcare, and work. A Harvard Medical School–trained wellness coach, she also mentors high-achieving women through Intelligent Living, her AI-driven approach to personal growth and well-being.
