A global healthcare company providing life-saving medicines and medical technologies to hospitals and health systems needed to modernize healthcare provider engagement. Fragmented customer data, disconnected digital channels, and inconsistent field tools limited its ability to consistently engage clinicians and health-system decision-makers. Leadership engaged me to build an omnichannel provider engagement model that could strengthen customer relationships and support commercial growth across the enterprise.
I designed enterprise capabilities utilizing Salesforce Health Cloud focused on three strategic priorities:
Repositioned the brand around a value-based narrative aligned with provider priorities.
Built an omnichannel engagement model to connect with providers at scale.
Integrated field enablement into daily workflows to improve customer interactions and productivity.
Value-based brand strategy
Product-led messaging rarely addresses the broader priorities of provider and health-system decision-makers. The brand strategy was therefore repositioned around a value-based narrative reflecting the distinct priorities of clinicians, procurement leaders, and health-system executives.
This approach strengthened the organization’s ability to articulate its clinical, operational, and economic value across stakeholders involved in complex purchasing and adoption decisions.
Omnichannel provider engagement
To engage providers at scale, a precision customer ecosystem was built using Salesforce Health Cloud to unify previously fragmented commercial capabilities. HCP and account segmentation enabled teams to tailor communications to stakeholder priorities.
By connecting customer intelligence, digital engagement, and field interactions, the model replaced disconnected communications with personalized information across provider touchpoints.
Integrated Field Enablement
To translate the provider-engagement model into consistent day-to-day customer interactions, field teams needed shared tools, workflows, and value narratives. Therefore, a cross-functional field-enablement program combined training, approved digital tools, and structured data capture within commercial workflows.
As these capabilities became embedded in daily practice, they streamlined visit preparation, reduced administrative burden, and surfaced relevant customer insights for more informed provider follow-up. As a result, consolidating commercial intelligence into a unified interface enabled field teams to deliver more relevant conversations and improve productivity across priority accounts.
Strengthen provider engagement with a connected omnichannel model.
