OVERVIEW

Better Version Lab (BVL) is a Turkey-based cosmetic surgery startup entering the highly competitive and low-trust medical tourism market. The founder engaged me to transform her vision of becoming the “Gold Standard” for Western patients into a differentiated commercial platform capable of competing beyond price.

STRATEGIC PRIORITIES

Over a 90-day engagement, I designed a 0–1 go-to-market system powered by AI-native marketing operations. The result was a faster international launch and a premium, trust-led patient experience. The engagement focused on three strategic priorities:

  • Positioning Better Version Lab as the premium choice for international cosmetic surgery by building a trust-led global brand.
  • Creating an intelligent patient acquisition system that personalizes the patient journey and scales across international markets.
  • Deploying AI-native marketing operations with human-in-the-loop workflows that accelerate execution while maintaining brand consistency, regulatory compliance, and human oversight.

 

Premium Brand Strategy

Rather than competing on price, Better Version Lab was positioned as a premium destination for cosmetic surgery centered on trust, safety, and personalized care. Audience research revealed that prospective patients valued clinical confidence, transparency, and a concierge-level experience over low-cost treatment alone.
The flagship campaigns, Discover the Better You and Your Mediterranean Dream Awaits, reframed cosmetic surgery as a journey of personal renewal grounded in clinical excellence and Mediterranean hospitality.
A Mediterranean-inspired visual identity, anchored by the tulip as a symbol of transformation, unified the brand across every patient touchpoint. Messaging was tailored for prospective patients, referring physicians, and care partners, ensuring each audience received relevant information while maintaining one consistent brand platform.

AI Native Marketing Operations

To support rapid international expansion, I designed an agentic AI marketing department comprising five specialized AI agents operating within human-in-the-loop workflows. Together, these transformed market intelligence into multilingual campaigns while embedding brand governance, localization, quality assurance, and continuous optimization into a unified commercial operating model.

  • Market Intelligence Agent: Monitored patient demand, competitive activity, consumer sentiment, and emerging market opportunities to inform commercial strategy and campaign planning.
  • Brand Strategy Agent: Translated market insights into differentiated positioning, messaging frameworks, campaign narratives, and strategic creative direction across every customer touchpoint.
  • Creative Studio Agent:  Generated channel-ready creative assets, campaign concepts, copy, and visual content for web, email, social media, and paid advertising.
  • Creative Localization Agent: Adapted creative assets, messaging, imagery, and cultural references for U.S., European, and GCC audiences while preserving one consistent global brand identity.
  • Performance Marketing Agent: Connected Google Ads, Meta Ads, CRM, and analytics data to optimize audience targeting, creative performance, media investment, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Customer Experience Agent: Personalized customer journeys across digital touchpoints, automated communications, and surfaced customer insights to improve engagement and long-term value.
